Friends are Fun Patch

I just earned the friends are fun patch .   I am so excited.   I got to make a bracelet. 

I made stationary and a curly message .  

I made a message in code.

I am going to mail it all to my friend Pablo who lives in Seattle Washington.  I think he will like it because he hasn't seen me in a long time and he won't be expecting a secret code.

Brownies

          I just joined girl scouts.   Saturday I will start selling cookies.   I got to taste cookies blind-folded to know if I could taste the difference.  We had a cookie kick-off party.  It was fun.

My finished report.

I spent a week and a half working on this paper.  First I picked a subject.  Next I came up with questions.  The I looked up the answers and started writing my paper.  I wrote it by hand first and then I typed it.  My mom made me keep my hands in position because I have a typing program now.  It took a long time.

      The ocean is cool.  The animal that live there are fascinating .  Some animals that live in the ocean are
dolphins , squid and starfish.

     There are so man things that  make dolphins special .  Dolphins squeak to talk to each other.  Some
dolphins hunt by forming a circle, pointing their tails in ward and kicking up sand .Then fish jump out and the
dolphins catch them in their mouths.  Dolphins have one calf at a time and six teen in a life time.
        
     Squid are so awesome.   Squid eat every thing form shrimp to whales.  Squid grow up to be 495kg in
weight and 6m in length.    Isn’t that cool ?
 
     The last animal I will tell you about is the cute little starfish.   They eat clams and snails.  Starfish weigh
about 5 kilograms.  Starfish are almost any color.

     So you see that ocean animals are truly fascinating.  There is so much magic under the waves.  I love the
ocean.

Ocean report

This is what I have typed so far on my first research paper.  I am trying to make my decision of if this is going to be my new lanhguage arts program or if I want to keep using the big workbook from k12.  I'm not sure.  I'm getting tired of the workbook but I think i would miss it.  I am learning how to make paragraphs in complete papers, so i got to pick anything I wanted to lean about.  I have learned a lot of stuff I didn't know.  And some stuff I learned from a video I watched at the Taylors house on my vacation.  Here is my paper.

I have to finish typing my squid paragraph, then write my star fish and closing paragraph and then I will be done and I can pick something new to learn about. 

Dogs (for Language Arts)

Here is  my advice for  owning a dog .  You can put  it your yard in or in a kennel.  It could live in your house. Dogs like to eat dog food, table scraps, and small animals.   Feed your dog  twice a day . You might want to train it to be quiet

The Best Cat

I got  a cat.  She is so cute.  We named her Daisy.  She is black.  She  lives in the barn and catches mice and rats before they can eat eggs.  I love her so much. 

The Birds

We have these really pretty birds. They Have a red head and a yellow body with black wings. I took a picture of one and drew it with crayons.

We are studying Greek and Latin root Words . I learned bio means life. biology is the study of life so I will study that bird for my biology because it is alive.
